What gave Hulk Hogan such a bad reputation backstage?

It seems like nobody likes him, (Personally). I've seen C.M. Punk, Bret Hart, Ultimate Warrior, and not to mention a lot of other Wrestlers and people with in the business bash him. For a guy to get all that hate, he must be a really big d*ck.
