Wondering about the Theory of Evolution...?

I understand that natural evolution is only plausible if caused by God because the evidence for this is so staggering, but I still have a hard time accepting theistic evolution because of the extreme and undeniable lack of transitional fossils, which according to Darwin himself would be evidence against the theory. Any thoughts?
